Wow! This was a tough one. Especially with what is going in our world around us. I struggle with “get up and look for the circumstances they want.” We can get up but it is kind of hard to go find the circumstances they want with “Stay at Home”/ “Shelter in Place” mandates, or is it?? For me it reminded me that a major part of my journey is my outlook. My focus. Even what is on my task list. Am I looking and focusing on what is around me? The challenges? The fear of the unknown? The news? OR, Am I focusing on my attitude, how I can grow, how I can serve, how I can help someone around me or in my network?
I think Mr. Shaw was right. In normal times you definitely want to get up and get out and go find those productive circumstances but for today, we need to look at ourselves and change our circumstances with ourselves so that maybe we can be that productive circumstance someone else needs. Wow. that was good.
