Wow that is amazing stuff. Written back in 1989. It’s speaks right to where we should be as leaders and managers. A great principle for our personal lives as well. As we have discussed in previous blogs, with the short amount of time we are given on this earth we really need to strive to be as efficient everyday with our time, task and relationships. Understanding who we are, who we want to be, where we want to go, what impact we want to make on this earth are all decisions we must make to have any shot of efficiently managing our time and talents.
But, multiplication always adds up faster than addition and that is how we need to view our relationships. Multiplication. If you really want to maximize your impact, add someone to your team or your task. We have a foundational saying at my church, Mountain West Church ( amazing place http://mwchurch.com) more with more. You can always accomplish more with more people, more hands, more minds, more strength, more view points, etc. more with more. I did not say easier. More People is always more challenging but way more productive. So to really be effective, invest in people!
