“He could have handled it a bunch of different ways, but he immediately went to the source. He addressed the system. He didn’t immediately go to the Band-Aid solution of fixing that single bulb. He focused on the big lever (the system) that would impact the entire company process. That mentality is absolutely game-changing. Any issue comes up? Don’t get frustrated. Don’t yell. Try not to even fix the issue right away. Instead, go yo the source and fix the system!
Create this as a mentality for yourself and a part of your company. Imagine, if every issue is solved with a system improvement, what would that mean for your growth and success? I’ll tell you, It’d mean more freedom, consistency, growth, and a business machine that is working for you, not the other way around.”
They say over 90% of our struggles with our team is not the person but the system or process that team member is trying to work with. Let’s take the next few weeks as 2023 wraps up and examine our systems and processes against our results and be ready to start 2024 with new possibilities. 2024 could be the best year ever!!!
