Clarity

As we enter 2025 we have an opportunity to improve our impact, our teamwork, our profitability and even our customer satisfaction. One area where we can improve is Clarity. In most of the organizations that I have the privilege to coach, we find there is a lot of confusion. Ownership/ leadership assumes that everyone knows what they are doing, how to do their job, and what results they should be achieving but this is far from true. Most of the time there is a disconnect from what is assumed and what is reality.

Clarity – easily understood, having a full, detailed, and orderly mental grasp of something, freedom from indistinctness or ambiguity.

Do our people understand what they are supposed to do everyday?

Do your people know/ understand why they do, what they do, everyday?

Do they ask questions? Are they relentless with finding out?

Do your people know when they win? Do they know when they did a good job and crushed it today?

Are we measuring the results of what we do? Does everyone have a number they are responsible for?

As managers, leaders, and partners, we need to make sure everyone on our team has Clarity. Do they understand? Do they have access to the details they need? Have we removed the uncertainty or ambiguity? If not, we need to find out why our team is not crushing it and begin to address and solve the issue.

Reminder: “Leadership is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute to making something extraordinary happen.” Alan Keith, Lucas Digital

You got this! Let’s go crush 2025!!
