Clarity
You know the Good Book says, “Without a vision, the people perish”.
If you don’t know where you are going, you are dead!
Do you know where you would like to be in 10 years? What about 5 years? What about next year? What about your department, do you know where you are going? What about your company, do you know where you are going? Clarity is a must!
When the people that work for you are not exactly sure what they need to be doing or why they are doing what they do, you lose productivity and you do not get the best from your team. When Alice from Alice in Wonderland came to the fork in the road and asked the Cheshire Cat which way she should go, he ask, ” where are you going”? Alice replied, “I’m not sure”! Then the cat responded, “well it really doesn’t matter which road you take , does it”?
More homework:
Take 30-60 minutes this week and think about the future. Maybe grab your partner and spend a few moments asking each other, “What If”! Or wouldn’t it be nice if we could _____!
Grab your business partner and spend a few minutes looking at where you would like to be.
The only shot of having any chance of getting where you want to be is to decide where you want to go!
Clarity, without it we are dead!
