Bobby Mink founded Choice Consulting because he got tired of watching builder-owners struggle with problems he had already solved three times over.

A Career Built One Role at a Time

Every stage on this timeline is a problem Bobby lived through before he ever coached anyone else through it. This is the resume behind the coaching.

1985
Finish Manager
John Wieland Homes
Bobby's career starts on the ground floor, literally, managing the final finish work on homes before they reach the buyer. Twenty years at the same company follow, moving up through Builder, Master Builder, and Project Manager along the way.

2005
VP of Sales & Marketing, NE Region
John Wieland Homes
Twenty years after starting as a Finish Manager, Bobby rises to lead sales and marketing for the entire Northeast region, closing out two full decades at one company by running the business end, not just the build.
2005-2008
SVP of Operations
Stratland Homes, Atlanta Division
Bobby moves to a New Jersey-based builder to run the Atlanta division as Senior Vice President of Operations, taking full operational ownership of a market outside the company's home base.
2009-2010
Operations Pastor
Mountain West Church
A two-year detour that isn't really a detour at all. Bobby leads operations for a growing church, helping attendance climb from around 150 to more than 500. Systems, leadership, and people problems look the same whether the building sells homes or holds services.

Georgia Home Builder
As Chief Operating Officer, Bobby takes a Georgia builder from $4M to $40M in annual sales in four years, a tenfold increase built on installing the systems and leadership rhythm that let a company scale without breaking.
2014-2017

Bobby does it again at a second company, growing construction volume from $6M to $40M in just two years while cutting more than 50 days out of the construction cycle time through process improvement alone.
