To be built to last you must be built to change. Jim Collins
I don’t know about you but sometimes I think most of us struggle with change. It just seems easier and a whole lot less scary if things can just stay the same. But, how do we grow, improve and expand our impact if we stay the same. Got a chance to hear Paul Martinelli of the John Maxwell Team share a concept of beliefs that was insightful and challenging. Paul shares that our beliefs are usually the biggest deterrent to change or taking on a new challenge or opportunity. Our beliefs remind us of how things should be based on our life journey. Our beliefs are the loudest voice trying to keep us from being hurt or disappointed when we do not have the experience in our memory to support this new challenge. He challenges us to push through the wall of fear and the belief that we cannot do this. That we might fail. That we are not equipped. If we push through and take a chance we open our self up to a brand new set of opportunities, beliefs and even awareness that we never new before. Wow!
So let’s make 2022 our best year ever. Let’s break through those walls of fear that have been holding us back. Let’s try team meetings for the first time ever. Let’s creates job descriptions so every one knows how they are contributing. Let’s set aside some time to agree on our Core Values, our Mission, our Passion. Let’s lock in our 10-year goal, 3-year picture and 1-year plan. Let’s make 2022 the best year ever!
if you need help getting started let’s set up a conference call and unpack your journey.
