Leo Buscaglia said, “The easiest thing to be in the world is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Don’t let them put you in that position.”
Do you ever find yourself thinking about what others might think? Does your voice in your head question your motives and actions and try to steer you toward fear and doubt? I think if we could ever learn to have a little faith in our decisions it could change everything. If we could take hold of every thought and push out that voice of “But what will they think?”, it could take us to a whole new level.
I think it is wise to seek council and direction from those you really trust but be careful about your voice of wisdom in your head or those “Glass Half Empty” people that sometimes find us. Our voice is often the one asking us to consider what others think. so what do we do? Let’s begin to better understand ourselves. Our gifts, our passions, our talents, but also our shortcomings, our challenges and even our fears and let’s confront everything. We do have challenges but we also have talents. We are not so good at some things but we are awesome at other things. We may not always make the best decision but we have made some amazing decisions in our past.
You got this! Just go ahead and pursue you, with everything that is in you. Don’t be conformed to this world, their agenda, their thoughts of who and what you should be. Go all out after who you are and who you are becoming.
