Wow, powerful statement. I know for myself that I do not always think about the impact of my daily task list or the items on my calendar. It really does make sense that what you work on, what you focus on, who you meet with, who you zoom with, would really impact your destination.
I have the great pleasure of teaching a class on Priority Management at the NAHB, National Association of Home Builders. One of the things we cover in our 3 hours session is rating your task. What are the most important things you need to be working on that create the most value for your life or business. This may take a little work as we all get sucked into reacting and just checking off boxes. Stop. Take 30-60 minutes and think about what things are most important. What things your personality and skill set bring to the situation relationship or business. And then, work on and focus on those things first everyday. What will make the biggest impact for your life, for your department or for your company today and do those things first!!
