For many businesses this is a very challenging and even scary time but let’s put a different spin on this moment in time. Can you take a possibly slower season to get ready for the opportunities they may present themselves to you and your business as we move to the new normal in a few weeks or months?
A few suggestions:
- Take these next few weeks to clean, file and organize the office or your work space
- Have your profits been the best ever? If not how can you work on new systems and processes to get ready for a more profitable future when the market returns? Deep dive into pricing, cost, overhead, expenses and see if you can find some things to adjust
- Is your team fully engaged and working at a high level. Communication, accountability and team work are at an all time high. If not how can we take these slower days to look into our culture, leadership, systems, processes, communication and accountability and develop an improved model so that when the market returns we are performing at a much higher level.
- Customer satisfaction. Are we where we want to be? If not how do we unpack all of the touch points of our clients and customers and create a better process and better experience?
