“It’s not the load that weighs you down, it’s the way you carry it.” Unknown
Great quote I recently read. It reminds me of the challenges I sometimes face as I deal with obstacles and uncertainties. For me, I find myself focusing on the load. On the issue. On the uncertainty of not knowing what is next or exactly how to fix my situation. What I am learning is that as long as I focus on the load. The challenge, The issue, the longer it takes me to realize I need to set the load down for a minute and change my focus and thought process toward what I might be able to do. Maybe this load/ problem has been placed in my way to push me to try to see things differently and maybe take a new path. Try something new. The good book tells us that in this world we will have trouble but we can overcomer it!
So, what does that mean for us. It encourages me that there will always be a load. Sometimes it will be incredibly heavy but if I continue to look for answers and solutions and maybe even invite someone in to help, maybe give perspective, maybe even help me carry the load that I will be able to push through and overcome. The load may not change but my ability to deal with the load and better carry the load will change!!
You got this. Take a few minutes this week to reflect on those challenges you are carrying. Find someone to help you process the load and maybe even help you carry the load. You can do this!!
