Problems

“Positive thinking is how you think about a problem. Enthusiasm is how you feel about a problem. The two together determine what you do about a problem.” Norman Vincent Peale

So what is your attitude and response to a problem? I know I’m super weird but I think problems are opportunities. If we stumble into a problem then it might mean there is an opportunity to solve that problem which may push us to think about things differently. Sometimes we get stuck in “That is the way we have always done this”. Tough place to be if you are not open to considering something way outside our normal box. Sometimes these problems almost seem divine. It was the problem that create the new conversation and the new idea that opened up a whole new paradigm.

Sometimes that problem is with a customer. A product. A new hire. A new boss.  A family member. A failure. A competitor. Whatever the vehicle for this new challenge, take the opportunity to push yourself outside the box. Let the team share their thoughts and suggestions and maybe try something totally new!
