It is absolutely Ok to strive for more. It is OK, and even encouraged, to improve and grow. The challenge is sometimes we are already in the right place. Even though it may be difficult and frustrating, we may not realize the bigger picture of what is happening to us or the situations around us while we are struggling. We may be striving for a better position or pushing for the change we want but sometimes you are exactly where you need to be. You are in the Right Place at the Right Time.
You make think you are limited in your current position but what we don’t realize is this current reality may be preparing us for our new opportunity. Can we begin to learn to apply ourselves fully in our current situation? To try to maximize our impact in the job or role we currently have? Maybe if we crush where we are, the new door might open as those around us see our efforts and results and plant seeds of new opportunities because of the work ethic and value you are bringing to your current reality?
Let’s try trusting the timing of opening and closing doors and while we wait for the new opportunity, let’s run after our current position with passion. Let’s learn all we can. Let’s experience all we can. Let’s prepare ourselves for what might be ahead by fully engaging in the task at hand.
