Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together. Vincent Van Goth
The journey to greatness is made up of many small things over time. To achieve something great rarely takes place over night!
Ever heard of The Law of Ten Thousand Hours. It is the journey of time and commitment it takes to go places few people are willing to pay the price to reach.
Olympic athletes who have been getting up at 5:00am in the morning everyday since elementary school to be one of the top athletes in the world. Musicians that have spent several hours a day for years and hundreds of shows per year, like the Beatles, to hone their craft and skills to unbelievable levels.
So what, you might ask? My encouragement to you today is stay the Course. Keep paying attention to the small things. Keep doing the little things. Reading, growing, practicing, networking, following up, writing, creating. You don’t think these extra things are paying off. You don’t think anyone is watching. Just keep at it. Keep pushing forward. Why? The extra effort over time will pay off!
Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together. Vincent Van Goth
The good book says, do not grow weary in well doing for in due season you will reap a harvest!
Keep hitting it out of the park with those small things!
