Tension managed responsibly releases power.
When you think about this statement as it relates to machinery it makes total since. In a manufacturing plant if the tension on the belt is too tight it might break and shut down production. If the tension on the belt is too loose then the machine will not run as the pulley will just spin and no movement will be created. Also not productive.
But what about life? If you can take super talented people and egos and help them become a team and work together for the good of the team or organization then that tension managed well will release power. You will always achieve and accomplish more with more talent and skill applied to the situation. The good book says a chord of three is not easily broken. There can be great power in numbers.
So it may mean we need to suffer through some challenging personalities, some tension, to really achieve something great through our team!
