Wow, challenging thought. Does what we think impact what we do? Can we change and adapt if we don’t really believe in the change or that the change will work? It does start to make sense as you ponder how what I think and believe impacts what I can do and where I go.
So how do we begin to change the voice inside? How do we start to change who we are inside so that it can take us to new places on the outside? Here are 5 suggestions to internal change:
- Take a few moments and write down things around you, that you impact and control, that you wish we better or different.
- Take a few minutes and write under each thing what the “Better” could look like
- Take a few minutes and write the things that you could do to begin to influence those things toward the “Better”
- Find someone you can talk to and partner with that will help you, support you and help encourage you
- Find resources you can read or listen to that help you develop the positive voice inside that can help you be encouraged that you can make changes and you can make things better.
