If you want great things out of your life, out of your finances, out of your marriage, with your kids, out of your career, you have to plant some great seeds. What are great seeds?
I think one of the most challenging things we need to learn to plant great seeds is to think of others. If we want to receive great things and reap great things in our lives then we need to put others first. In 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Covey says “Seek first to understand then to be understood.” If we try to understand others, try to see things from their perspective, that will really increase the quality of fruit your will be receiving.
Before thinking about what we need and what would be good for us, consider someone else first. Maybe you are getting the bad end of the stick because of the crises and pressure they are living under.
Want great things coming back to you then dish out some great things to others. Listening, seeking to understand, giving of yourself with no strings attached, being empathetic and understanding. Try putting others first and watch that good fruit roll in!
