A few thoughts from an amazing sermon I hear a few weeks ago. These principles will really help us with our ownership/ leadership journey. Enjoy!
Tension of delay. Things are happening even when we don’t see it. Sometimes delay is a blessing.
Just because you don’t see it, the situation can still be in motion.
Sometimes other people and other situations may need to change to begin to see your opportunity or results.
Are you someone else’s results or opportunity?
Sometimes the path or process may not be the way we thought or planned for. Maybe it is not the shortest, most direct route. Sometimes we need the lessons and challenges of the longer, more difficult path.
It’s about the journey, not the destination. Are we aware of the road you need to walk on?
Sometimes the road to the destination is trying to help us to learn and become who we need to become.
Sometimes the long way is so we can get a better understanding of who we are and what we need to become. To confirm our WHY, our heart.
Humble yourself. Adjust your attitude. Not so much worry, it may be difficult for a while, but you will be better because of the difficulties and challenges if you learn from them and adjust.
You can’t always control the why but can control the how. I control me and my reactions and actions.
Even though you honor and do the right thing, but it still seems dark and difficult, trust the process. Don’t let fear be the driver.
Take a step toward the outcome you desire. You must take a step in order to move toward your desired reality. Have a little Faith. Trust your experience and the process. Rely on the people and team around you to help and support you.
You got this!!
